Art School Santa Fe Opens on Santa Fe’s Southside

Classes offered for all ages, skill levels

Art School Santa Fe is a newly opened art school at The Lofts on Cerrillos Road, offering small, affordable classes with custom tailored and individualized instruction for children and adults of all skill levels. Classes offer a traditional focus in painting, dynamic character illustration, nature inspired surrealism and academic drawing as well as drawing from imagination and sketching for inspiration. The school is also offering Art Together — child and adult interactive classes, as well as Doodles, Doughnuts, and Drafts, geared to adults.

Art School Santa Fe is the creation of Ronny Beeman (she/her), a professional artist and experienced art teacher who has been teaching fine art for nearly 3 decades. Ronny studied art in Los Angeles with Larry Gluck’s Mission Renaissance School of Fine Art where the methodology and philosophy emphasized the importance of fine art and learning traditional techniques employed by masters such as Monet, Vermeer and Rembrandt that are quickly disappearing from common art education. Currently, Ronny is the art teacher for grades K-6th at Santa Fe School for Arts and Sciences. Her art runs the gamut of genres from traditional portraiture and landscapes to fantasy art and illustration and has been featured internationally in solo and group shows, has had a book published, and has been featured in magazines and at San Diego Comic-Con.

Art School Santa Fe is enrolling now. More information about current class offerings and scheduling a free 30-minute consultation can be found at ArtSchoolSantaFe.com. Ronny Beeman can be reached at ronny@artschoolsantafe.com or (505) 36-gecko (505-364-3256).
